Join us on Saturday, September 16th at High Noon for the bottle release and tapping of ‘LENNY,’ an Imperial Oatmeal Porter aged in a single Deerhammer Distilling Company whiskey barrel.

This will be the 13th installment of our ‘Carriage House Series’ of barrel-aged, wild, and sour limited-edition releases.

Who’s Lenny? That’s a question we still ask ourselves. Rumors of his existence travel like tumbleweeds across the Front Range. He’s everywhere – yet never anywhere at any given time.

Some say he works for Deerhammer and that he personally delivered the whiskey barrel that aged this Imperial Oatmeal Porter. All we truly know is it arrived in our brewhouse one fateful day, and the beer born from its oak brings beautiful notes of dark chocolate, blackberries, anise, cracked pepper, and soft vanilla bean.

There will only be 100 375mL bottles of ‘LENNY’ available, with a limit of 2 per person. We will also be offering ‘LENNY’ on tap throughout the afternoon alongside a dozen other CTA beers!

There have even been whispers of an appearance by Lenny himself, but anyone who doesn’t know him knows that could be yet another wandering fable of the wicked and wild west…
