Drag Queen Storytime fun celebrates diversity in the way that children may dress and act. It encourages children to look beyond gender stereotypes and celebrate being who they are. “Programs like this encourage acceptance of difference and help to prevent bullying,” says Judy Zuckerman, director of youth and family at Brooklyn Public Library services, where this is an on-going activity.
