SUMMARY:At The Inkwell Celebrates National Translation Month (Denver)
DESCRIPTION:At The Inkwell partners with National Translation Month every September to encourage readers across the US to celebrate literary works in translation. Open mic readers can read either their own work or a translation they enjoy.   \nADITI MACHADO is the translator\, from the French\, of Farid Tali’s novella Prosopopoeia (Action\, 2016). She also works with Latin and Old English. She is the poetry editor of Asymptote\, a journal of translation. As a poet\, she is the author of Some Beheadings (Nightboat\, 2017)\, Route: Marienbad (Further Other Book Works\, 2016)\, and The Robing of the Bride (Dzanc\, 2013). \nSARAH THOMPSON lives\, writes\, and teaches high school students in Denver. She holds an MFA from University of Colorado\, Boulder. Her translations of poems from the book ecograffiti\, a collection by Romanian poet Ruxandra Novac\, are forthcoming in Asymptote Journal. \n
